The facilities and interfaces described in this section are
optional components of the System V Application Binary Interface.
Any system may be used to provide a development environment for ABI
conforming applications.
This chapter describes the commands,
options, libraries, and path mechanisms necessary to produce an
ABI conforming application.
This development environment need not
be hosted on an ABI conforming implementation.
